It’s the end of another year, and the beginning of the next. How did you do? How will you do?
Everyone knows the saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” Actions, like words, have meaning. What do your actions say/mean to you and others? Start the new year by creating your action dictionary. What are your goals for Self/Body… Quit smoking… Lose weight… Run a marathon? For Career/Finances… Start a new business… Tithe to your Church or donate regularly to a local charity… Go back to school? For relationships… Find your soul-mate… Have a baby… Spend more time with your mate or friends? Whatever they may be, once you decide, create an action dictionary. If the definitions don’t match your intention/goal, change your action to one that does.
It can look something like this:
Smoking a cigarette – I don’t care about my body; I have given up on myself; I don’t care about the suffering I inflict on my family as I destroy my only permanent place of residence — my body. ;-o
Skipping my afternoon Starbucks – I’ll be able to Donate school supplies and money for shoes to a shelter or orphanage; the quality of life for these children is more important than my afternoon Starbucks
Not returning a friend’s phone call – I am not that interested in nurturing this relationship
Smiling – I am open and happy
This year let your actions speak for you. Your life will get the message loud and clear.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
